Front wings: families, sizes & how to choose

Surf V2, Camber Pro, Havoc, High Aspect, HA-X, Vario, Florence X, Grubb — and which to pick.

Your front wing is the single biggest factor in how your foil rides. Bigger = more lift, more stability, slower. Smaller = less lift, more speed, more agility. All front wings are bolt-on (4-bolt) unless an LCS version is noted; LCS wings only fit LCS masts.

Surf V2 (start here)

The most versatile, beginner-friendly line. Common sizes: 250 (extra float/stability), 200 (the "bread and butter," factory LIFT5 F wing), 150 (sporty all-around), 100 (fast, aggressive). Legacy: 60 (big-wave), 300 (teaching — discontinued; use 250 or 270 Camber Pro).

Camber Pro / Camber Pro LCS

eFoil-tuned for smooth turns at speed. 210 is the all-around default (factory LIFT5 Sport/Pro); 270 is the high-lift, stable option (factory LIFT5 Cruiser). Available in bolt-on and LCS (210, 270 LCS). Legacy 160 for lighter riders.

Havoc / Havoc LCS

Surf-tuned, higher aspect than Surf V2. Sizes: 148 (easiest, one-wing quiver), 121 (daily driver), 105/92 (advanced). LCS versions: 148, 150, 200 (factory LIFTX wings).

High Aspect & HA-X

  • HA: 120 (the legendary one-wing quiver), 90, 70 (advanced), 170/200 (legacy, max eFoil range).

  • HA-X: 110 (expert glide), 150 (the bestseller — downwind daily driver), 180 (stepping up from Surf V2), 220 (learning downwind, max eFoil range, all skill levels).

Vario

The newest high-aspect line with Vario Twist tips that stay planted through carves. 150 (all-rider, the most recommended, in bolt-on and LCS), 120 (daily driver, 180+ lbs), 90 (advanced, under 175 lbs), 180 (heavier riders / newcomers).

Florence X (downwind/speed)

~38" wingspan across all sizes: 130 (downwind daily driver, the bestseller), 110 (everyday accessible), 91 (confident downwind/small surf), 71 (expert speed).

New to foiling?
