LIFTX (powered surf foil)
A lighter, surf-shaped eFoil with a folding prop for powered surf, downwind, and wake.
The LIFTX is Lift's powered surf-foil — a lighter, more responsive eFoil for riders already comfortable on foil who want electric assist for surf, downwind, and wake. It's powered foiling: a surf foil with a motor that gets out of the way the moment you don't need it.
The LIFTX uses the same LCS as the LIFT5, so wings, propulsion types, and controllers cross over — but the LIFTX battery is a different, smaller form factor (0.9 kWh) and is not interchangeable with the Gen5 battery.
The hybrid riding style
Use power to get to the wave, swell, or downwind run, then let off the throttle and foil unpowered. The folding propeller collapses flat when the motor cuts, dramatically reducing drag so you glide like a regular surf foil. Squeeze the trigger and the blades snap open instantly. Despite the smaller battery, most riders get 1–2 hour hybrid sessions.

Propulsion & compatibility
Standard propulsion is the 32" LCS Carbon 55 Low-Mount with the Folding Glide Propeller (the thinner 55mm motor creates less drag for unpowered foiling). High-Mount and Ultra High-Mount options reduce drag further for off-power riders. LIFTX is not Blowfish-compatible. See LIFTX battery for power details.
