The people
Nick Leason — CEO, co-founder, designer, and rider — a closed-loop experience where the designer is also the rider.
Michael Leason — co-founder (a father-and-son team with Nick), credited with the first battery-powered hydrofoil controlled by a wireless remote.
Sean Ordoñez — board shaper with 20+ years of experience, who shapes all Lift boards.
Lift has collaborated with athletes including Laird Hamilton, the Florence brothers, Brian Grubb, and Kai Lenny.
Product lines
eFoils (LIFT5 F, LIFT5, LIFTX), foil boards (surf, wind/wing, downwind), wings, masts, and accessories (Blowfish, batteries, propulsion). Key innovations include the Lift Connect System (LCS), the Blowfish inflatable add-on, Quiet Ride Technology, and Gen4/Gen5 batteries.
