LIFT5 F (entry-level)

The most accessible way into eFoiling — same ecosystem, fiberglass board, upgrade path.

The LIFT5 F is Lift's entry-level eFoil — the most accessible way to start, on a platform you won't outgrow. It uses the same board shapes, the same LCS architecture, and the same Gen5 Full Range battery as the LIFT5, with proprietary fiberglass board construction and a 28" aluminum propulsion mast built for learning and everyday durability.

The key idea: because it runs on LCS, every component upgrade — carbon propulsion, different wings, a lighter battery — carries forward. The setup you start with builds toward the setup you want.

Both ship with the 200 Surf V2 bolt-on front wing, the Lift Hand Controller, the Lift Charger, and the Lift Jet propulsion. Choose the Sport if you're under 220 lbs and want balance; choose the Cruiser if you're over 220 lbs, brand new, or sharing the board.

Fiberglass absorbs impact better than carbon — touchdowns and everyday dings are less of a concern while learning. The board shapes are identical to the LIFT5.

The upgrade path

  1. Start stock — aluminum propulsion, Surf V2 wings, Gen5 battery.

  2. Upgrade propulsion to the 32" LCS Carbon 68 — this also unlocks LCS wings (the whole catalog).

  3. Swap wings for your riding style (Havoc, Camber Pro, High Aspect).

  4. Lighten the battery with the LIFTX battery + adapter.

  5. Add a surf setup — 32" LCS Carbon 55 low-mount with a folding prop.

By then you've essentially built a second complete eFoil through upgrades, and the LIFT5 F board stays as your sharing/learning board.

Blowfish & care

Both sizes work with Blowfish for extra stability while learning. Care, charging, firmware, and pairing match the LIFT5 platform — see Maintenance and Firmware updates.
